Ten Years ago from last friday (Aug 6)
the Incredible (before the Incredibles)
movie the IRON GIANT was released.

Althought It didnt make money ,(due to lame marketing),
the Movie is a masterpiece.
So I decided to do this "spin off".
If you have seen the movie You will inmediately know
where this is from.

(I made up the name of the Sci-fi Horror film ,since they didn't have one for it ,
At least not that I know of...)

These designs are my own version of the classic victorian tale of
Ebenezer Scrooge the tigh fisted old man who couldnt tolerate christmas.

I also wanna explore certain variations of the characters for an Animated version of the story.

Ok, I did this xmas card based on 4 popular Spanish christmas carols.
called "Villancicos".
the first one is called "Mi Burrito Sabanero"
(for those of you northamericans wondering what is this about no ,not the type of burrito that you eat at TacoBell), and it means my Mountain Donkey

Second one is "Campana sobre campana" Bell over bell.
Then there´s "Los peces en el rio" meaning Fish on the river
and finally there´s the only one we share with the english speakin countries,
"El Tamborilero", The Little Drummer Boy.

a Lost climber from the regions of Northern Asia.Who simply was very big and tall , and just let his old white beard grow...Now there are some theories that aim to explain his rare blueness.I just go on and say, it´s because he´s lost that he´s so blue.

DIARY OF AN ANIMATED SHORT

Hey I just had this new idea for a flash animated short,
so I´mnna try to post steps of the process in making it
it began with some random designs i drew one day(below)
and now I came up with a little short adventure for some of the characters.

Now... I translated em´into flash and into colour.

That´s as far as it goes for now.

We´ll see how it goes

entonces tratare de subir imagenes poco a poco del proceso de hacer el corto.
Comenzó con unos diseños cualquiera que dibuje un dia(los de abajo)
y se me ha ocurrido una pequeña aventura para involucrar a algunos de los personajes.

Ahora los trasladé a flash y les di color.
